New
Born out of necessity and a drive for excellence, TULU PORCELAIN’s journey began within the bustling world of the HORECA industry. As proud owners of 25 premium hotels, we faced a pressing challenge: finding porcelain durable enough to meet our hospitality’s rigorous demands.
So we took matters into our own hands. We acquired a porcelain factory, embracing its rich tradition, and tailored it to align with our unique needs. As our own first customer, we innovatively refined and improved the production process, ensuring every piece lived up to the exacting standards of our own hotels.
But our vision didn’t stop there. Recognising that every home mirrors a professional kitchen’s demands, we expanded our horizons to the retail sector. Given TULU PORCELAIN stood the test of time in hotels and restaurants, it’s perfectly destined to grace every household table, turning every meal into extraordinary experience.
Founded in 2021 by Turan Kilit and Ali Kilinc, TULU PORCELAIN has quickly become a respected player in Turkey’s ceramics industry. With its primary focus on B2B production for the domestic market, the company is expanding internationally through partnership and collaboration.
TULU PORCELAIN stands out for its innovative approach to material composition and firing. In September 2023, the company launched a unique line of fine porcelain built upon its own ‘HydroZero™ inside’ ingredient technology, notable for its shade of cream, high transparency, and exceptional durability.
Geared for growth and supported by a robust infrastructure, including two factories and a logistics centre, TULU PORCELAIN embodies a blend of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge innovation, making it a rising star in both the domestic and international markets.
Our Story
In Turkish, “Tulu” generally refers to “sunrise” or “dawn.” It signifies the time when the sun first appears on the horizon, bringing with it the recurring and renewing light of a new day. The word embodies a sense of renewal, rejuvenation, and the start of something new.
